Cleaning manual hand spraygun
- Pour cleaning solvent into the paint cup after coatings are finished.
Remove paints remaining on the inner surface of the cup with a brush or a waste cloth.
Dispose of the used cleaning liquid. - Pour clean solvent into the paint cup.
Pull the trigger and perform mist coating. Repeat this several times until the clean solvent is discharged.
*Please note that dirty solvent will be discharged.
*Do not immerse the body in solvent. Otherwise it may be damaged due to foreign objects mixed or contamination of parts such as packings.
Point
The cleaning effect can be improved by pressing the top of the tip with a waste cloth to reverse the solvent flow.
- Remove the air cap, soak it in solvent and clean with a brush.
*Please be careful not to damage it when cleaning.
Even a slight scratch can disturb the patterns. Do not use hard objects such as a metal brush. - Pull out the needle to clean it.
*Be careful not to damage the top of the needle. Otherwise it may cause paint leaks. - Clean the knob of the needle.
Clean the knob of the cheater valve or pattern valve at the same time if paints are attached to them too.
- Secure the gun with a vise and remove the fluid tip using a box wrench.
*Be sure to pull out the needle before removing the fluid tip.
*Be sure to remove the fluid tip with the fluid nipple attached. - Clean the fluid tip.
*Be careful not to damage the fluid tip.
*Defects such as "paint leaks" and/or "abnormal pattern" may be caused if dirt remains or it is damaged.
*Clean the fluid tip with cotton swabs and take care not to damage it. - Clean the exposed surface of the gun with cotton swabs.
*Do not use hard objects such as a metal brush. - Clean the inside of the fluid nipple with a brush.
*Dirty status may cause poor coatings. - Clean the air valve behind the trigger.
*Dirty status may cause air leaks.
Cleaning is completed. - Reassemble in the reverse order of removal after confirming that it has become clean.
Use a torque wrench to attach the fluid tip with an appropriate torque. It varies depending on the model, use "8N/m" for Luna2.
*Under-tightened parts may cause coating failure due to "irregular breathing". - Finally, apply a small amount of "SSL-10 Gun Lube" to the moving parts of the needles and knobs so that smooth movement can be achieved.
*Do not use it for water-based paints. Paints may be repelled.
