In order to deal with the increasingly difficult demands of high viscosity application in the Automotive & Industrial markets, BINKS offers a complete range of high pressure pumps.
Ball check pumps for medium to high viscosity materials or chop check pumps for very high viscosities can be supplied. Pumps can be wall, cart, drum or floor mounted, or mounted on a variety of ram and inductor units. Pump ratios and outputs are available for a variety of volume and pressure requirements.
Air Motor
- The air motor utilizes the Binks quick exhaust technology to prevent air valve from freezing when high speed circulation is employed.
- Lubrication-free air motor reduces exhaust air containing oil.
- The air motor is equipped with an exhaust muffler to control the exhaust air noise.
Fluid pump
- Stainless pump rod (Hardness：2,000~3,000 Vickers)
A life of 5 times longer than chrome plating has been achieved. - Maintenance-free, because the inner cylinder does not slide.
- The fluid section is a 'ROD' type which means the rod displaces the liquid materials and is designed to be sealed with the only contact of the packing seal and the rod part.
- The interior is designed to maintain high volume delivery while minimizing pressure drop, which has made high efficiency possible. Thanks to the slick surface finish created with special surface treatment, cleaning is very easy.
- The piston pump applies a stepped piston rod design. The piston and rod seals are chevron type and can be adjusted with the gland nut when they are worn. The lower chevron packing part can be adjusted and maintained when it is worn by using the pre-embedded wave spring.
The pump rod and seals are cleaned and lubricated with the integrated solvent cup, extending the product life. - The piston rod is ceramic coated.
Fluid Section
1. Stepped piston rod design - Ceramic Hardness 2-3000 Vickers vs Hard Chrome (common commercial product) 950 Vickers
= Low friction and long life due to ceramic characteristics.
= Long life since the contact part of the cylinder is small and does not wear out.
Optional: 4 types of packing materials, compatible with various applications.
PTFE/UHMW -(PU) - Wide range chemical resistance & Durability
PTFE/Leather -(PL) - Suitable for highly abrasive materials

5. 1-1/2inch Fluid Inlet - 31% larger inlet than that of competing products; Coarse thread, which is hard to be affected by the coating debris, is used.
